WTH?! Powerbelt in revolver???

Okay...I just read something from a dude who says that the Powerbelt .45 hollow points will fire out of an 1858 Remington .44. His reasoning is that the Powerbelt rounds are essentially soft lead meant to take the rifling.
I'm fairly new to BP but does this sound AT ALL plausible to anyone...or just a real bad idea? I don't see how you could get those to fit evenly. I don't know.

Looking at their site I saw no pure lead bullets in .45 cal.

I'd imagine it would be quite difficult to load them straight.

I don't know why they wouldn't work in theory, but the ones I have seen are too long for use in a revolver without reducing the powder charge to powder puff loads. I surely would't use the copper ones, though.

I have no idea WHAT this dude was talking about. I shoot those out of my rifle (.50)...but I can't imagine trying to stuff those in my pistol.
