Towards the bottom of the magazine you should see a hole on the side. With a pencil or something similar push the follower down. Once you have it about all the way down take a roll pin punch and push it thru. The punch will hold the spring under tension. From there you should be able to slid the follower out. Release the roll pin and the spring will follow you have to work the spring past the lips on the mag.
BTW look at the witness hole on the side of the magazine as you depress the spring you will see the coils of the spring as they pass. Make sure you put the pin in on the spring not the follower itself.
