Casper Father Allegedly Kills (daughter's) Ex-Boyfriend

A 57-year-old man was shot and killed at the home of his ex-girlfriend west of Casper in what appears to be a case of self-defense.
Natrona County sheriff's officials said the man was shot with his own gun by the woman's 70-year-old father on Wednesday night. No names have been released.
Police said the man drove to the 53-year-old woman's home at about 7 p.m. and threatened to kill her. The woman was outside walking her dog at the time.
Police said she ran into the house after one round went off. Her father, who also lives at the home, apparently grabbed the man's gun and shot him.
Investigators said the couple had dated for about 12 years.
No charges have been filed.
