sorry if its been asked all ready I searched it and found nothing, here and google, so just wondering everyones take on the two I think I'm in favor of the A-bolt for the reason that it has been around longer but whats everyone else's take on the two pics would be nice if you have them, really like to see some X-bolts

X-Bolt uses a plastic box magazine, has 4 screws per base. Other than that, seems to be the same darn gun.

go check out the newest field and stream, and outdoor life, x bolt got some fine reviews, and some decent upgrades from the a bolt.

ok what issues I have both for august but only field and stream for july but what one is more accurate, And what one is more relliable

The X-bolt can also be cycled with the safety on.

The magazine may be plastic--but its hell for stout(think of a giant 10/22 mag--that you can drive a truck over) and much more user friendly than the old floorplate system.

A better question would be, can you utilize the accuracy that is there to begin with?

Neither are target guns, but I can guarantee you that both will be accurate enough for hunting out to any sensible range.

I want the gun to shot better then me so as I get better there will be no need for a new gun on;y tighter groups and does anyone no where the X-bolts are made

They're both made in Japan. From what I've heard the A-bolt will still be produced. Browning did this with their shotguns. They bring out other lines that directly compete with each other. I have an A-bolt and like it. The new X-bolt's feel smaller in the hand and point more natually for me. They point like a small shotgun. I think the bolt button is a little cheesey, but the new magazine system looks like an improvement. The new X-bolt recoil pad is the gummiest, softest pad I've ever felt. The x-bolt bolt shroud is kinda ugly IMO too.
