I saw Xtreme was running a special for free shipping this month on orders over $150. I didn't really need $150 of bullets. I purchased 500 each of 9mm, 45, and 223. Order was right around $125. Went to order and noticed a option for free shipping. Bonus #1.
Got them yesterday and there was 3 bags of brass in with the bullets, one for each caliber I ordered. Only like 25 each but still free brass. Bonus #2.

Not sure why I got brass though? Nothing in the box that said why. Anyone else get any?

How long did it take to get them? The last two times I ordered it has taken 11&12 days.

Has anyone tried the extreme 55 grain bullets? I would like to know how they compare to Hornady 55 grain fmjbt.

I have loaded, and shot about 28,000 of these bullets since April 2013. They had bullets on there web site when no one else had them. I used Hornady up till then, and figured I would try them out. I have been very pleased with them. I can't say how well they group at 100 yards with a scoped rifle since all of my ARs have 3 MOA red dots, but I have no problem keeping them in a 2.5" group at 100 yards with a red dot. For what I do (3Gun, carbine training classes, and target shooting out to 100yrds) they work well. I have 8,000 setting on my bench now, and placed an order Friday for 2,000 more.

i have used the xtreme 55gr 223 bullets with good success. have not fired them extensively but enough buy more. they are a boat tail design i believe. it's no match ammo but will give you decent groups at 100 yards. doing about 1-1.5" at 100 yards with my standard xm15 with scope.

holy crap gahunter12
loaded and shot 28,000 rounds since 2013?
respect dude, i go through about 5-6k a year and I thought THAT was a high round count.
you must be pulling triggers in your sleep! :D

I use them and I have the Hornady as well. They seem like good stuff. I get real good accuracy at 100 yards with 24.5 grains of Benchmark.

Mark.
