XD Torture test

I think the XD trigger is better than the Glock trigger by a good margin. The only thing is the Glock trigger has a shorter reset. Other than that, I highly favor the XD. My reliability with Glock and XD have both been spotless so I can't compare there. I don't know how I feel about torture tests.

I have to respectfully disagree with ya. I think they both stink, but out of the box the GLOCK stinks less (and by a slim margin at that). Neither gun has a trigger that I like, but more "triggers that you get used to".

The XDm is a step in the right direction, but they need to do more of whatever it is they started doing on that gun.

Now, with some springs and a connector, the GLOCK gets a fairly passable trigger. I wouldn't carry it like that (2 pounds, no reset, etc) but it sure makes for a nice USPSA Limited gun...<g>

Hk Dan

I have 2 XD's and both have triggers smooth like butter.

You must be referring to some older model because all the newer ones I have owned are just fine and they only get better with use.

Wow, excellent testimonial. I guess I bought well!

Still, will there ever be an XD45T-M???

never bought one because every time i want to the trigger turns me off, they never match up to glock triggers

Wow, finally I can finally point the Super-Glock fans to something showing that there is something as durable out there as a Glock. I can't stand the way a Glock fits me (or lack of fitting me whatsoever) or how hideous it is, or how, as the Glock fan who bashed Smith & Wesson for having to take "two tries" to get a gun right (the Sigma) was informed, that it took Glock 3 tries to get to the point they are now. The people I shoot with all own XD's, and I love shooting them. Nice to know these things are this durable.
