xmax gift

Taurus 800 serie

i'm looking at one of those as a xmax gift to myself, but i have't seen one i was wondering what you guys thing about it. it's not going to be a CCW, more like a range toy/HD type of weapon.

I believe that is Taurus' hammered version of the striker fired 24/7 and 24/7 OSS... it is anything like them, you will have a great trigger, sights, reset, and dependability with the gun... of course the same can be said of every Taurus I have handled so.. I may be biased.

I'd have one except they take a different magazine from the OSS and 24.7 models

I've passed until I find a source for reasonably priced spare mags.

great guns, never had any issues with them. They do however remind me of my Ruger p94, but I think Taurus is little better quality, I have a 9mm Taurus full size that I take to range and stuff and put about 2000 k rounds threw it in last 5 years never had any issues, no jams or anything.They do handle good and the fact that they are full size they are smooth when you fire them.
