I'm considering trying out the XTP's out of my Triumph. I will be using these for whitetails. Does anyone have any experience with these? If so, what load are you using?

I have killed over 20 deer using a .50 caliber muzzleloader and the excellent 240 grain .430 XTP bullet. The vast majority of my shots on deer using that bullet have been bang flops or near bang flops: Never lost a deer.

Do your job and the .430 XTP bullet will do its job.

OMG !!! Please tell me it ain't one of them John Deere tractor lookin' Rocket III's !?!?! Ya walk up on one of those and it just plain uglies ya to death !! LOL

The TC Triumph is one of the most accurate out of the box muzzle loaders for shooting a wide variety of saboted bullets.
It has a lot of other nice features too.

If you really want some specific load suggestions, try the HuntingNet.com black powder forum where there's a lot of serious inline hunters & shooters.

There is a guy called falcon on that forum who uses the 240 grain .430 XTP bullet with good effect on deer and hogs.
