Love my 870 but am looking to upgrade to a nice semi auto and was pondering over the xtrema2. I am not a synthetic stock guy but am interested in the cycle rate and recoil reduction Beretta offers in this model. I'd love to hear your opinions and testimonials as well as your views on other shotguns!

I had a extrema II and didn't like the safety on the front of the trigger guard. I traded it for a SBE II and have never looked back. The simplicity of the SBE is a very good feature. I can have that thing torn completely apart cleaned and put back together in 15 min. To me there is not even a close second to the SBE II.
You wanted my opinion and you got it.

I really like the way the extremaII looks but I too am a Benelli SBEII owner and lover. just pick up a benelli and fondle it the next time you go to the fun store and you will notice how much you love it. I know they are expensive but I am very glad I saved up and bought it because I dont have any use for my other shotguns and I really dont want any other shotgun, therefore saving me money in the long run
