Getting some good snow on the Huachuca Mountains today. That should help get the rut going with the cold air.

Seen 9 does and one small spike last weekend. Did a lot of glassing to no avail. Wind was in the worst direction to hunt the back side of the mountains on Friday and Saturday so we worked the west side of the mountains.

Back at it Friday through Sunday until I see something to shoot.

Lucky you, snow, if only we could have even had some cool weather to hunt in. The deer were bedding within an hour of sun up, made for some challenging glassing I must say. bTW, my daughter in law, a hunter for only 2 years now, was putting everyone to shame and was picking up deer in the bed constantly. that girl has got a knack.

Keep at it Lennyjoe, there are some good couse in that unit, go get em. Maybe try changing your glassing approach so the wind is in your favor, or glass from as far away as possible, 1/2 mile or more if you have the optics that can do that. Then once you've spotted them, you can try to get in on them in such way the wind won't get you busted.
