Wild hogs in Iraq killed three members of the terrorist organization-daesch. An additional five terrorists were wounded by wild hogs.

"Three Islamic State militants setting up an ambush in a bitterly contested area of northern Iraq were killed by a herd of stampeding boars, local leaders say.

Sheikh Anwar al-Assi, a chief of the local Ubaid tribe and supervisor of anti-ISIS forces, told The Times of London the militants were hiding on the edge of a field about 50 miles southwest of Kirkuk when the boars overwhelmed them Sunday. Five other militants were injured, al-Assi said."

Ohh...

Though luck on not making it to heaven there boys!!

Ok. That's HILARIOUS!!

Hey that gives me an idea. Remember the movie "Operation Dumbo Drop"? Well...seeing as how hogs reproduce at such a rapid pace, can eat almost anything, and will push native animals out of an area, maybe we could get the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Florida DNR to actually round up a few thousand feral hogs, load them in some C-130's and do a fly over drop over there. In just a few years there would be no food for their native animals and ISIS would be faced with a choice. Eat swine or starve.

My son spent 12 months with those savages at a COP near the Pakistani border. He enjoyed the link. Thanks OP for posting.

Mmmm, well, I have been carrying a new M4 carbine in the woods lately. I jumped a hog not long ago, didn't get a shot on him, too much brush/cover. But, I'm thinkin' instead of that 10 round mag, I might should carry the 30 rounder, I mean, if a herd of wild boar attacks me. :D

I do wonder about the truth of this story. I suppose it's possible, though.

Going back to the 1950s, I read of occasional attacks on hunters by Russian boars in southern Appalachia. They'd been imported and released. At first the numbers grew, and then over the years hunters reduced the numbers. But apparently, accidental proximity triggered hostility.
