I'm from Massachusetts. "Knock out" isn't new. There was a video a few tears back showing some guys taping themselves while they out lighted some poor guy standing at the bus stop. Most from that neighborhood would not let someone get that close.
CC is no help if you are clocked from 1 1/2 arms length because you are un- aware.

It has nothing to do with CC and everything to do with situational awareness and avoiding gangs of youths. It is about being alert for the potential for violence and being ready to respond should it occur. CC, OC, NoC, whatever.

If you dont see that mob/attack coming.
AND have the wherewithall to take proper action,then your going to get hurt or seriously damaged.
That means you need to plan an avenue of escape and a plan of action should you see this unfolding.
And also a plan as to what you are willing and ABLE to do to stop such an attack that you are privy to witness.
Dirty Harry is quoted as saying " a man's got to know his limitations".
That covers this whole scenerio regardless if your the victim or the witness.
Hope all are aware and practice Op-Sec,no matter how silly/paranoid you may think it.
