Having had enough of ears ringing after taking whitetail with a centerfire rifle, I did some research and got the ball rolling on my first suppressor.

Selected a YHM Resonator 2. It’s a 30 cal can, and will be used primarily on an 18” bolt rifle in 308 Winchester.

It may also get some use on .223 AR’s.

Can’t recall having read a bad review, and my local store spoke highly of this particular model. Look forward to getting though the process, and using it.

I went with YHM too they are good products not cheap but mine is 5 years old no baffle strikes and when I called about another model the salesman reminded me about the lifetime guarantee.

Just picked mine up a few weeks ago. It’s not quite as quiet as my larger 30 cal cans, but it certainly takes the edge off. I bought it specifically for hunting, not something I would want to put through a range session without earpro, but perfectly adequate to avoid ringing ears for the occasional shot when hunting whitetail. I believe it fills that roll well.

Might want to read YHMs actual stated warranty. Good company with good products, but they've had some people pretty ticked over the warranty issue because it was implied that they would have a damaged can repaired or replaced for free. Baffle strikes or anything else that is not a result of defects in material or workmanship is explicitly not covered.

I am picking up a Turbo T3 as soon as I can. Using mostly on a 10 barrel 5.56.

Why should they warranty baffle strikes? It has nothing to do with the quality of a suppressor.

They shouldn't, never suggested otherwise.

But some outfits do, and some reps gave the impression YHM would, which soured some folks who sent cans in for warranty then got a call stating it would be x amount of dollars to repair, usually about 65% of replacement cost.

I don't warranty baffle strikes or abuse, either, but I'm very clear about that when people ask, don't just say "yep, lifetime guarantee!"
