Mine is stocked with more commercially remanufactured ammo from a vendor in Alabama; they got a pallet of 9mm a few weeks ago; not the best pre-panic pricing, but not as high as we've seen folks here mentionThe sports store near me "not Cabela's" is stocked up with most ammo. Still slack on handgun ammo but did have some 9mm and 45 auto. Maybe I'm wrong but seems all the lgs near me are stocked with more import ammo. Some I've never even heard of.
I'm thinking when all this is over with. American ammo makers are going to eventually have to close or move out of the country. I don't think they are going to be able to compete with the foreign ammo that now found its way into the country. American people have already proven over again that they will not spend more for American made.
he only happened to Portland.Ted Wheeler !
Cabela's in Grand Rapids Michigan has primers now, but are asking 65.00 for a carton (1000) CCI.My Cabela's isn't doing any online sales for primers or powder. I've been to the store 6 times and struck out every time.
they were selling their store brand .22 for $5 on the 50ct. this was about 2 weeks ago. their Guns are non-existentCabela's in Grand Rapids Michigan has primers now, but are asking 65.00 for a carton (1000) CCI.
I’m think $.04 for standard stuff and $.08 for cci will be the normshuvelrider I am afraid that may be the "new" normal price or close to it. I predict $50-70 normal pricing. Hope I am wrong and the are $30 again, but I am a realist.
My LGS is completely stocked with everything except reloading components. How is Cabelas completely empty? there shelfs are more empty now than during last year pandemic???
I 'd be happy with that price right now.Cabela's in Grand Rapids Michigan has primers now, but are asking 65.00 for a carton (1000) CCI.
I’m not going to lie, I’ll pay $50 for a thousand right now…. I’m burning though more than estimatedI 'd be happy with that price right now.

I don't know about dining out, we typically eat at home. The Czarista of Michigan can run her mouth all she wants, just a liberal tool in my book. Someone said I'm complaining about $65 primers, so what, his part of the country is different than where I'm at. My lgs is out of most ammo, no primer/powder, our Dunhams is jacked high on ammo. As noted our Cabela's is just now getting primer and a hodge podge of ammo, when you go to their little table to ask. They aren't doing me any favors, I'll look elsewhere in my travels. I have a stash put away for the time being, I'll give my money where I feel good about doing so.shuvelrider:
If Michigan is now 100 percent open, as reported on the news, then with Many more restaurant tables available, more of those guys will be ‘“persuaded” to take girlfriends or wives out to dinner.
This will help reduce the overall cash available to spend on your local (or online) Ammo— all else being equal.
I’m buying guns! The prices are back to normal and I have 1 year of not buying components orI don't know about dining out, we typically eat at home. Very true, but I’m not sure they sell much clothing. and on a style note, their clothing is bland at best. Better to buy from REI or 5:11 for jeans
I dress like a beach bum! but those 5:11 slim fit jeans are amazingThey sell to the suburbanites who want to look outdoorsy. High end technical clothing is what suburbia expects LEO's or wannabe's to wear, so they avoid that stuff. Also goes to their substantial and well funded market, who is cleaning their shelves off at every opportunity, just the same as another economic sector is standing in line at Walmart for their two box ration of .22. The big box retailers who snared enough trust to get repeat shoppers are selling all they can.
I learned a saying, Observe the Masses, Do the Opposite. Cabela's was already off my list years ago when it seemed every other neighbor was wearing a new Cabela logo sweatshirt every fall to rake the leaves.
I mulch in a surplus Austrian Mountain Jacket, wearing a $14 pair of thrift store 5.11's. I can't believe what people pay just to discard it next year when they gained another 10 pounds.
And people wonder why on-line shopping is killing brick and mortar stores..... Go figure.Got ordered out of store for just pulling it down to ask a question!!!!!
