I saw found this article online. It claims the Obama administration is pushing to have the Social Security Administration become the arbiter of your gun ownership rights. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/la-na-gun-law-20150718-story.html#page=1

I haven't heard this anywhere else. I agree 100% that certain people do not need to have access to firearms. I don't think I like the idea of getting the Social Security Administration involved in the decision making process.

Obama is coming in thru the back door to see how many peoples guns he can take away
because he has not been able to do it thru the front door
 
Though the measure isn't a novel idea (it's simply a directive to make sure government agencies are complying with existing law in reporting), it still smells of yet another version of a "no-fly" list.

We all know how effective those are, right?

As the Yale psychiatrist noted, some veterans in need of assistance may refrain from seeking it for fear they would be so classed. This would likely become a pattern among many other recipients of SSA benefits.
 
I hope this goes nowhere. And can we drop sandy hook already.

Being bad with finaces does not make a person dangerous.
