That weird Martini Cadet I inherited. Chambered in .17/.357Mag. About the size and weight of a BB gun.

First time I shot it at 200 yards, I wanted to see what the drop was on my 100 yard zero. Fired a group of 3, then a 2nd group of 3. When it was time to walk, I found that the combined 6 went just over an inch.

Single Shot - Ruger #3 in 375 win - under 1 in. at 100

Lever - Rossi .357 Mag used to win bets by busting clays at 200 yards and then shooting leftovers with factory Irons - damn old age & old eyes
- honorable mention to Marlin 39a used to take the heads of thistles...

Big Game - Mauser .375 Weatherby w/ 300 sierra Bullets over 88 gr 4350 Clover Leaf's at 150 yards if the recoil doesn't get to you.

Varmint - Rem 700V .243 min of ground squirrel at any distance you can see if you can judge wind & elevation -

RattleBattle - Cav-15 w/ WalterLother 16" heavy tube 5/8" w/ SA surplus!

Plinker - 10/22 Ruger (swapped Hammer & Trigger added butpad) shoot thru neck of pop bottle at 75 yards.

Handgun - Old S&W 44 mag 8 3/8 - Silhoutte Turkey at 150 meters hit 9 of 10 targets in the head one day - It's a keeper
or High standard Victor.22LR - 25yards dime size group w/ machine rest w/ CCI green label .

1891 Argentine Mauser, believe it or not. Loaded with custom 220 grain 313" slugs at moderate velocity, it will keep under an inch at 100 yards with iron sights.

Runner up is the K-31 Swiss, which will shoot a bit over an inch at 100.

I have a 222 Remington 700 Classic. It does a consistent 1 ragged hole at 100 yards and 1" at 200 yards. I have a Taco World Class 3X9 on it.

Best are...

two Remington 700s, one in .22-250 and the other in .308 Winchester. Both shoot under an inch, sometimes under a half inch.

I have an old Remington bolt 22 that shoots remarkably well. The 6.5x55 Swede is a pretty tight grouper. In fact, I don't have anything that always shows poorly.

My most accruate rifles would be...

1st - Accuracy International AWP in .308. Yeap, 1/2 Minute angle or slightly less consistantly... 1/4 MOA if I do my part and am on my game.

2nd - Hunting - Steyr Scout. 3/4 to 1 MOA consistantly, Biggest problem with grouping small is the Scope and Retical - Fixed 2x and Heavy Duplex... but for getting on target fast - Yeah Buddy!

Remington 700 Sendero Special with 24"bbl; in .300Win.Mag.,.
Timney trigger, parkerized finish, bedded to Coate Machine &Tool "Ultimate Sniper" Stock using Brownell's Steel-Bed.

Leupold Vari-XIII, 4.5-14X50mm Long Range Tacticle: 50mm objective lens, 30mm tube & Mil-dot reticle.
Mounted to rifle using Leupold dual-dovetail bases and rings.

Ammunition: 168gr Sierra Matchkings loaded over 74grs of H-4350, Winchester cases, Federal #215 LRM primers.

One hole groups at 100yds, averaging 3-1/2" groups at 600yds.
