Um, I would have to say my most valuable sentimental wise would be my M1Carbine that my grandfather brought back, supposedly, from WW2. I was really close to him and it was recently passed down to me from my dad. It seems functionally ok but I am not sure about firing it. My dad forgot about it in his basement over the last 10 years and when I got it, it was pretty dusty and had some surface rust on it. I clean it up with some WD 40 and functioned tested it a few times without a mag or anything and it seems 100% ok but I just don't know. I need to get some magazines and some ammo for it because at some point I do want to shoot it, I just hope it holds.
As far as the most expensive thing I would have to say one of my Sako's. The gun itself was like $2800 and that is not including any accessories. I would say I have more than $4000 in it now and when the scope and mount get here it will be more like $6000.
