The question mark because one of them is in a questionable state of wear, and another is an ancient unidentified revolver. *Edit* Wait, also a flintlock. Does that count?
I just took delivery of an M1 Garand courtesy of the CMP today, so it's 2 pistols and 9 rifles. If my math is right, that makes:
1 to 4.5 ratio of pistols to rifles. I kinda like milsurp rifles, and I also vowed to get better with the pistols I already have before buying any more (of course, WildAlaska had to go and do a group buy for a NRM Colt, so I'm gonna go ahead and get one of those ahead of schedule ).
No other government on earth has a constitutional "right" for citizens to own firearms. The UN wants to insure that "NO" government allows private ownership of firearms. Seems there aren't many options left but to defend the United States of America and the Constitution.
Dollar wise the handguns are winning. Nearly half the rifles are milsurps. The shotguns are in the collection just becaue it would be danged weird to be a gun owner around here without them. Nevemind that 2 of the 3 are Saigas.
Currently I need government permission to buy a handgun... else I'd probably have gotten a few more by now. Impluse buying and such. Much easier to do with a long gun around here than a pistol. PIty really.
