We've had this question asked several times before, and we normally don't encourage discussion of this topic, due to legal and other complications. Therefore, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to close this thread.
Please understand that it's generally a VERY bad idea to post details of actual self-defense experiences on a public forum like this. If there are individuals looking to sue you, they can mine such threads for "ammunition" - not a desirable outcome. Also, there are too many keyboard commandos and "wannabe's" out there, who would abuse a genuine request for information with spurious and made-up responses. We'd rather avoid both problems.
