Guys, I make no apologies for working with kids in muzzleloading shooting sports as it promotes safety marksmanship and respect for the 2A. It also exposes youth to something other than the black rifles and shows other ways to have a ball in the shooting sports. So we made a short video for a Scout camp to promote their muzzleloading program.

Great video! The local 4H muzzleloader club uses the range where I belong. They have about a dozen young guys shooting muzzleloaders. They are very good and put on a demonstration for my wife's DAR Chapter at the range last summer.

I'm jealous! We wanted a muzzle loading program for 4-H, but not any volunteers for leader. I was already running Rifle, and helping with Archery and Trap.

Just a couple of the stills from the pile.

I don't know how the camera was set, but this has an interesting look to it.

When instructing, you don't watch the target. You watch the shooter for technique. Here the instructor is watching the shooter and has his hand ready to take control if the shooter turns or does any unsafe motion with the rifle.
