YouTube recommendations

Hey everybody, curious if there’s any YouTube channels that you would recommend I check out? I’m always looking for reviews on stuff and feel like Youtubers typically have the most latest information but there’s also a lot of junk out there. So if you have any recommendations for people to follow or watch let me know. Thank you.

Well I guess it'll depend on what you're interested in. Reviews of the latest wondergun? Historical stuff? Technical HOWTOs? Reloading p0rn?

Almost all of it, from my perspective, is two minutes of information packed into a twenty minute format. When I'm looking for actual information, I vastly prefer to read it. One exception: disassembling/reassembling something complex, where actually seeing it done has real value.

When I'm just looking for entertainment, with perhaps some slight bit of information included, I enjoy Hickock45, Capandball, and the longhunter/historical trekking/flintlock channels like Townsends - but that's not exactly mainstream gun stuff.

I will say that I like Paul Harrell's channel and have actually learned a thing or two from him. A lot of people seem to really dislike him, though.

Paul Harrell is mostly all I watch. I like his style.

Also buffman R.A.N.G.E. can be interesting and he does a good job of making everything he tests very clear.

I wouldn't consider anybody on a ranch or when talking about how many toaster ovens will it take to stop a 50 cal. Or anything like that. There is a lot of good information out there and tons of ridiculous.

With the right amount of bourbon - more than your wife would approve, but probably less than the YouTube host has on board - those channels can be entertaining.

Backfire, Ron Spomer, Hornady Podcast, Ultimate Reloader, and Johnny's reloading bench are a few not mentioned yet that I like.
If you can stand his condescending style and monotone, "The Real Gunsmith" has some good educational information.
Brownells "Smyth Busters" is also entertaining and factual.

For smaller more informative channels. I do watch Buffalo Outdoors, Tools and Targets, and occasionally Mason Leather lately. Entertainment wise, it's always Demo Ranch, Kentucky Ballastics, Brandon Herrera. I do enjoy TFB TV and Paul Harrell as well

Fieldsports Britain has some good stuff once in a while.

Dave Carrie Shooting I like.

USOG is a gentleman.

TFB TV is good when Clint Smith is on

Cannot stand most others, some are merely tolerable.

Oh yeah, Buffalo Outdoors is decent. Mellow delivery and a good shooter.

There are a bunch more I run across now and then, but I only have so much time.

I wish Nutnfancy would learn to edit the 10 minutes of content he somehow manages to put into an hour long video into a 10 minute video. But, I am just not going to spend that much time watching a video.

I check his channel off and on.
