Cool, will check em out !I watch a bunch of different channels.
Two of my favorites are
The Gun Dungeon & Tinker Talks Guns
Both channels are done by THR members.
Hickcock45 - fantastic reviewsHey everybody, curious if there’s any YouTube channels that you would recommend I check out? I’m always looking for reviews on stuff and feel like Youtubers typically have the most latest information but there’s also a lot of junk out there. So if you have any recommendations for people to follow or watch let me know. Thank you.
Agree. Most of it is a huge waste of time. Very little objective honest information. Lots of time wasting fluff and pure BS. Mostly annoying to watch by people with no real expertise either on guns or shooting. A few are worth watching but hard to wade through junk to find them. The same with repair videos. Some random guy in his garage doing it for the first time and not sure what to do.Almost all of it, from my perspective, is two minutes of information packed into a twenty minute format. When I'm looking for actual information, I vastly prefer to read it. One exception: disassembling/reassembling something complex, where actually seeing it done has real value.
When I'm just looking for entertainment, with perhaps some slight bit of information included, I enjoy Hickock45, Capandball, and the longhunter/historical trekking/flintlock channels like Townsends - but that's not exactly mainstream gun stuff.
I will say that I like Paul Harrell's channel and have actually learned a thing or two from him. A lot of people seem to really dislike him, though.
Thanks - I really appreciate thatThe Gun Slant video of the BH 357 was great.
