When you cannot use the same thing the rest of the population uses to share almost everything something is wrong.
When you cannot trade or buy and sell guns on ebay or amazon like people can for most other products, even going through FFLs and abiding by the law, and instead must use a gun only alternative you are filth, hidden from the masses slinking off in corners to live in the shadows like criminals.
When you cannot share videos with guns or gun maintenance or modifications or other actual gun related activities, while using the same platform people use to share everything you are filth, shameful, sent off to slink around in the shadows like the evil you are.
This just sets the tone. I recall linking videos on this forum back in 2006 when youtube was new and doing so was a new thing to many here. That now comes to an end.
When marginalized whether or not you find a way to still enjoy living in your own closed circle by finding another site to allow you to do the same thing, you are still now living in a closed circle, not the open forum of video sharing that most of the population enjoys. Not where other people are exposed to it, where it gains legitimacy and is a normal thing Americans do and stumble across..
When guns are only bought from gun only stores, not hardware or general stores it is something dirty. When guns are only traded on gun only websites not on normal good trading websites you are something dirty. When gun videos and slogans and culture are only on gun video websites, you are something dirty.
When you are marginalized you become easy to legislate against and divide and conquer.
So you won't be able to really work with guns, but movies where guns are fictionally used primarily for bad purposes will be free to share. So the masses exposure to gun videos will be overly dramatized movies, and not some normal guy showing you how to clean a gun that will probably never shoot anything but a target at the range.
