Yugo SKS info

Someone wants to do a trade with me where I would get his Yugo SKS. I have never owned an SKS.
I would like some info on this please.
Is the ammo readily available? Picky with ammo?
Fun to shoot?
Accuracy?
Function well without problems?
Easy to clean? Needs frequent cleaning?
What kind of value would you put on one with matching numbers in good condition?

The Yugo SKS is a fun rifle fairly easy to clean if you shoot surplus ammo make sure you clean it after you done shooting but make sure it is cooled down. They can get fairly hot if fired for long periods wear good gloves mine is not really picky with ammo. prices range between $250-$350

Prices no longer range up to $350 or even $300. I would put its value at $225 if it is in good condition. (don't ask me how I know...)

It fires the 7.62x39 cartridge which has surplus ammunition readily available online.

It will not be picky with ammo. They are ok.

I love my Yugo SKS. It's fun to shoot, accurate enough for the plinking I do, built like a tank, and not at all picky on ammo. I find it easy to strip and clean.
