Z-Corr Products Storage Bags

In reviewing this month's SAR I see on page 13 that they have a blurb on Z-Corr Storage Bags. As I plan on planting a few guns this Spring, I am most curious if anyone has any experience with this product.

Any of our veterans use them in or out of the service for long-term storage? (The mini article sez the USMC has used them since '03).

I still plan on using cosmoline, but am curious if it would help to put them in a Z-Corr as well? TIA.

Oh, almost forgot, what impact would this have on ammunition? Will this render it inert?

I plan to bury a pistol with a rifle and the pistol ammo will not be in a case or sleeve. Should I put it in a ziploc bag then put it in the Z-Corr or just leave it in the cardboard box?

Hey, that looks a lot like the bag my CMP Garand came in. Mine didn't have velcro, but I thought it was pretty neat. The material reminded my of a thick "space blanket", but I didn't pay anymore attention than that and tossed it.

EDIT: Upon further examination of the website, it appears that it wouldn't be any different than any other plastic bag if you were using Cosmoline as well. None of the chemical niftyness of those bags would be able to affect the metal if there was a heavy Cosmoline coating on the gun. Thus, its only purpose would be as a moisture barrier, and plastic wrap would be WAY cheaper for that.
