My Zastava M70 pistol needs to ignite the primers with a little more reliability. I want to make sure the firing pin and spring are clean and in good condition. However I cannot find a good drawing or video showing exactly how to remove the firing pin. Googling hasn't helped so far. Pointing me towards a good video or drawing would be appreciated. You might try looking at the way a Tokarev pistol's firing pin is removed. The M-70 .32 is a scaled down Tokarev converted to blowback, with a manual safety added. No guarantees, but it might be the same.

From the pictures I've seen, it looks like the firing pin is removed just like a 1911 firing pin. Use a punch and depress the back of the pin enough to slide the firing pin stop plate out.

Eventually I did get it out and back in again. Took some cussing, patience, and the right sized pin punch for taking it out and then a larger one makes it a lot easier to put back in. The trick to putting it back in was to use a much larger punch that pushes the firing pin and stop plate down all together at once. Then it goes back into place easily. Thanks for reading.
