I own an M57 Tokarev that I love to death. Fun to shoot, the recoil isn't too bad, and it breathes like a dragon. I would love one in a compact/commander form. I figure since the M88 evolved from the M70, which itself evolved from the M57, that I could take an M57 barrel to a gunsmith to be modified and fitted to an M88. Kind of a stretch, I know, but imagine the muzzle flash on the sucker!
I was also thinking about blueing the barrel of both pistols. Good or bad idea? Thanks everyone!
