Comanche, Tx. LSG mfg. I've only ever had The smith do rifle work for me but since we are acquainted maybe its somewhat up to his discretion as to what gets warrantied. He's a Remington warranty center also. Or maybe I should get on Numrich and order the parts I need for a home repair job.

Ejector rod housing is tight. How much wobble is acceptable when hammer is pulled back? I'm beginning to think the factory reloads may be too hot that I have on hand. 180 hornady, 20.0 g of 800x, 1700fps are what are on the box. They are sticky coming out. Maybe I'll try some lighter loads...
Well, I got the ported 629 bought that was mentioned in another thread. Now I have problems. When firing, the first 3 rds cycle fine, then the last three the cylinder locks up and must be very slightly wiggled to continue firing. Any idea on the problem ?
Lockup and timing are perfect, I'm beginning to doubt it's factory but the dorsal ports match factory Carry Comp dimensions to a T. I wish it was not ported but it is in perfect condition. If someone finds this to be a factory gun, I'll mail you $20. First person to post proof only. Thanks THR.
So the consensus is that it is a factory gun? The only porting that looked identical also had the powerport on the top of the barrel in front of the sight as we'll as the side ports. This one is lacking the top port.
I think it's related to the density of the hog. 855 flat outperforms 193 in hogs. I'll get some pics and maybe do a comparo thread with some good pics.
