473AA is kind of a a oddball powder. So I don't know if anyone will have direct experience. Take a gander at the link below for info on using pistol powders for low velocity rifle rounds. Caste lead bullet are the only way to go. I'd load up a few cases with 5.0 gr of 473AA and go from there...

Went to a auction in DeForest, WI, this weekend. Mostly household stuff, but a some long guns and ammo. I was bidder 147 and one of the last to arrive. There was maybe 20 guys that showed any interest in the firearms.

I bought a can of Old Masters tung oil 18 years ago. At the time, it was the only place I could find pure tung oil. Have used it on many milsurps over the the years. Still have some, but it's getting thicker with age. There may be more options today, but I can say Old Masters works well...
The fouling wipes off pretty easy. I have a 1851 that I shot for over a decade and never once fully disassembled or used a drop of water on it. Only Fluid Film. Which, admittedly, I slathered it in freely. It remains rust free to this day.
I've been using Fluid Film on my black powder firearms for over 20 years. Never had a problem with rust. It's great stuff. IMO, one of the best, if not THE BEST, BP lube you can use.
It's mostly lanolin - natural sheep's wool oil. You gotta understand what an MSDS is. It NOT a list...
