I went to all to "my usual suppliers' websites" and cannot find .223/5.56 cal magazines for sale. I expanded my search to the ww net and nobody sells them. Included in the descriptions are: "Not available", "Discontinued", "Out of stock", "Out of stock no back orders"
What is this all about?
Thanks John,
I did not even get answer to my email from yesterday. If I cancel, they refund only 90% of the amount I paid. They keep 10% as restocking fee. I must be a moron because I do not understand what would they restock when they did not have it on stock?
Thanks dayhiker. Yes, it is too long of a wait and they do not show if it is in stock or not. They take the order, let you pay for it then after they cash the money in they buy it from somebody else and so on, I am guessing. Charging a whopping $14.50 shipping too.
Did anyone deal with the above named internet company? Their website is

I ordered an M9 with scabbard made by Ontario on Sep 03. I have not received it yet nor did they provide any tracking number as of now. I called them a week ago and was told that...
I can see the point of collecting personal data for liability purposes. I also can see the point of registering all the calibers at the range one shoots for the same reason (a flyer hits somebody etc.) However, all that data can go into a database somewhere. (I am not saying it does, I am saying...
Following up on my pursuit of loading data. The can or rather plastic bottle included some loading data as I mentioned. The 7x57 Mauser is on the list. I wanted to see if the powder is suitable for the 6.5 Swedish. The case capacity is identical of those two calibers. The main difference is .5...
Gentlemen, the powder was made by ACCURATE.
The name of the powder is "MAGNUM RIFLE POWDER" it is not any other magnum powder. It is what it says, no typo or other mistaken identity.
Thank you for all the info. I will call Accurate.
I have 2 #s of this powder and cannot find any loading data with the exception of a few calibers included in the cans only with maximum loads and three bullet weights. I read in a tread (I couldn't open the whole thing, only the headline and one sentence)on the web that it is similar to H4831 or...
Be careful with the first few brasses. I managed to bend the extraction groove on a couple because I set the depth too deep. This swager is very sturdy and strong and with the press leverage I did not feel what was going on first. Then it was a breeze.
Takes your standard shell holder what you already have with your die set. The swager slides into the place of the shell holder on the ram. You screw the swaging "die" on the top of your press like a regular die. Slide your shell holder on the top and after adjusting the depth for your primer...
CH4D installs on the top of your press. You will need your caliber specific shell holder. All the settings are accompanying the swager tool. Fast, easy and painless. They sell small and large pocket swagers, might as well buy them both. Very affordable and for me they worked great so far.
Did anyone load with the SPP210 powder from Widener's? I am trying to find some impartial input about it before I commit to buy it. (or maybe I will be the
guinea pig)
This is what they claim:
"This Cylindrical Rifle Powder is Equivelent to IMR4198 and has many uses, testing has shown it...
Does anybody know how to disassemble the Walther air rifle? I tried with generally utilized screw drivers and such but they did not work except stripping the small machine screw head inside a tube something. I am not a gunsmith by all means as you can deduct that from my precise description.:D...
Casting 4.5 mm lead wire
I am searching now for a 4.5 mm mold to cast my own lead wire. I found only jewelers mold with 4 different sizes in the same mold what is 3" long. That would take a lot of time producing wire in 3" sections. I guess 3" wouldn't be that bad if all 4 holes were 4.5 mm...
This is the second time I losing a message due to automatic log-off.
I got the .22 lr, long and short covered from the same little single shot. I am talking about an air gun for cottontails, doves and squirrels. Also, rifle training the youngsters and practicing without plinking away essential...
