polymer baby eagle 40 s&w semi compact :barf: ....POS jam jam jam. traded for hi power clone and am lovin it.
someone mentioned a bulgarian makarov earlier in the thread. ??????????????? never a problem with mine or anyone else i know that owns one.
i don't want to take anything with me. i feel comfort in the fact that my stuff/guns will go to my sons. pass the gun down to the next generation whether it be a son, daughter, nephew or whoever. just my opinion, different strokes though.....
i had one a couple years ago. functioned fine. just couldn't get into the grip and thickness of the m2. then i discovered 1911's and that was it, i was hooked on the 1911's feel and accuracy. didn't like the dao trigger.
by being the key i meant if all the others weren't enough already here was another one i hadn't known before. i thought to myself this condition one thing is a no brainer safety wise.
What do we mean by “cocked and locked The M1911 pistol is loaded by inserting a charged magazine and racking the slide. This action chambers a cartridge and cocks the hammer of the pistol. The thumb safety is then pushed up toward the sight. This “locks†the pistol. The safety is on and...
http://www.sightm1911.com/ this is a good sight to find out about 1911's. somewhere in this site is what sold me about c&l carry. it reads if the sear and hammer notches were to fail, and the safety is on, the hammer still cannot move foward to strike the firing pin. the safety physically...
i had a jamo matic 40 baby eagle too. it went back to the factory once. would jam every other mag or so. a litte nudge foward to the slide and then it would chamber. i finally traded it for a hi power. best trade i ever made. magnum research kept saying it was a shooter problem. i had...
i shot five federal 357 mag hollowpoints out of my wifes s&w 340 sc. that was enough for me for that range trip, i went to my 1911 after that. i don't want to ever do it again for fun. the next time a 357 mag bullet comes out of that gun will be during self defense. i'll stick with 38spcl...
i can remember back to childhood and to me all guns were 1911's and winchester repeaters. who DIDN'T have those as toys when they were kids. i guess the images stuck cause i own both types of firearms.
:D
i agree with bountyhunter. i sometimes have high hopes of shooting 200 rounds through my 1911 then 200 through my hi power then 200 more out of my 357. save your ammo. i know i've wasted a lot of bullets convincing myself i can shoot all that ammo accurately.
