Just got a MKIII. Whats available for upgrades. I understand there's many available. My old mans' MKII was a tack driver. I'd like to push the performance envelope. Any suggestions? :evil:
Where can you go to target shoot i the woods? I live in Tacoma and have gone one time out on the logging roads near Greenwater. I've heard that might not have been legal and would like to know where I can legally go to touch off a few hundred rounds. :confused: I need a break from silhoutte...

Gotcha. They are two different questions. How bout this, if you were going to buy a basic 45, (i.e. Rock Island, Springfield, Taurus etc.) which would be your choice to use as a starter for a long term upgrade project?
I've had a glock 27 and currently carry the sub-compact xd .40 in an inside the waist holster. I found the xd less painful to shoot, less expensive and more accurate. it is very concealable under a t-shirt and shorts. Even in baggy shorts pocket carry is uncomfortable. The kahr shoots nice but...
:scrutiny:I've heard from two local gun shops that there were a number of problems with the new taurus 1911. One actually said they recalled the first batch. Are there any satisfied PT1911 owners?
