Hello, was wanting you guy's input. I carry a Les Baer Premier II, who do you think makes the best magazine for a 1911?

I'm fond of CMC Shooting Stars. I haven't experienced any problems with them. But the most popular seem to be Wilson 47Ds and CMC Powermags. I guess I just like using blue magazines with a blued gun.

I don't know about the Baer mags, but the Wilsons are MUCH better than the Kimber mags.

I don't know what works in a Baer, but I do know that my Wilson 47D has never had a problem.
Neither has my 8 round Novak's/ACT. The Novak's is even slicker to load thand my Wilson, is easier to push the follower down with the slide catch, and is easier to clean out because the base plate retaining lips are turned outward instead of inward.

I have a 10 round Powermag and it isn't 100% reliable in my Rock Island 1911.
It's caused 3 point jams regardless of how many rounds are in the mag and once it popped a round up in a weird way that caused a live round stovepipe.
Maybe it's just my gun...a RIA is a little cheaper than a baer afterall.

Thanks for the input guys. I went out and bought a couple of Wilson's .
