22 rimfire pouch

My solution is to use a 10/22 magazine pouch to hold a phenolic block cut to a standard 10 round magazine dimensions. I then drilled 3 parallel lines of holes with the center line 1/4 shallower than the outside ones. The cartridges in the center are used first. The outside lines have 4 holes and the center has 5. I made two that were sized for 22 magnum cartridges for my Super Single Six and Henry 22 mag lever action.

I'd like to see some photos of that creation. :)

An old Ray Ban sunglasses case, a tight fitting one, with the Geek belt slots should work well...(But be sure to get a vinyl pocket protector for your ball point pens to complete the ensemble.) Best regards, Rod

Interesting suggestions. Thanks all.

Spectacle cases huh.... Now where did I put my pocket protector?

Actually, I'm looking for a solid spectacle case. Got to protect the 3rd and 4th eyes ya know.

I have 2 (somewhere, I can't find either, grandsons probably "borrowed" them).

1. Leather pouch, a 50 round box of .22LR will just fit. I have removed the box and set the plastic tray inside, filled with ammo. Loose dumped is faster and my preferred method.
IIRC, I got it at Academy.

2. Mil-surp, with Alice clips, a little bigger than 50 round box, will hold 100 loose rounds. I had 3 off these, but gave 2 oldest grandsons 1.

From time to time I still use the old 175 count Crossman pellet containers with the belt clips. I don’t think they have made them in a couple of decades but they are about the right size for ~50 rounds of .22.

This one is probably decent but certainly a bit larger.

There are lots of soft pellet pouches that would also work for .22’s.

This is what I use, works great for me.
