Can anybody tell me the last time anyone ran a lot or two of ammunition for the .22 Winchester Automatic ammunition, and was it Winchester that produced it?

I am trying to run some down for my uncle, who is teaching his grandsons how to shoot with a Model 1903(?). Yeah, probably cheaper to buy a Chipmunk in .22 long rifle in the long run, but I don't argue, I just do as I am told.:p

Thanks in advance for any leads or info.

Every so often, Old Western Scrounger or navy Arms gets a run made....but it's been awhile and I ecxpect them to be running out. They had .32RF, 38RF, 22Win. Auto, and 41RF made at various times....at least some of it made in Brazil where evidently the old tooling still exists.

Hard to pin dwon when it was made...it tends to be run off all at the smae time as one big lot, then not made again until someone comes up with the $ to tempt tehm into running another. From the looks of some of the last runs of .41RF, the tooling is showing it's age and that may well be the last runs of those.
