280 Rem: 140 gr. Accubond & Reloader 22

I wanted to load up a few 140 gr. Accubonds over some R-22 for my 280 Rem. Nosler #7 doesn't list a load for this combo.

My question is, could I use load data from Sierra's manual for a 140 gr. GK as a starting point and work up from there?

I ran this combo through QuickLoad (with my parameters) that showed 58 gr as a max charge.

Any thoughts?

That's how I do it when I'm unable to locate data for a particular bullet. It's perfectly fine as long as you use a reasonable starting load. You don't have to go any lighter than 10% below published maximum, I usually start around mid table-ish, maybe a little under that. And especially so if I'm using a complete new load make up, different bullet and a different powder, then I start about 6%-7% below maximum.
