I just bought a S&W Pro-60 a couple of months ago (3" J-frame .357, tritium front sight and wood grips standard). At 23 ounces, it's very controllable with factory .357 loads, but I'm not going to make a steady diet of it. In fact, for HD use, I'm just keeping it loaded with .38 +P hollow points (have a couple of speed-loaders with .357 rounds however).
I believe Smith and Wesson is still making a 3 inch J-frame with adjustable sights in stainless steel. I'm an SP lover myself.
