Frequently Asked Questions & Good Things to Know
* The $300 Life Membership is 100% volunteer effort. Several THR members usually do this every year around this time. This is my 3rd year in a row doing this, and I love what I'm doing for the 2nd Amendment.
* There IS an NRA Recruiter program mainly for companies and trainers, but this is completely unrelated. This is more of a grassroots volunteer thing.
* My real name isn't Sam or anything close. I just made up the nickname when I joined THR.
* Make the $300 check or money order out to "NRA".
* I try my best to reply as soon as possible and will try to check PMs every day. This year I am only able to check the PO Box every weekend.
* This offer is good for both new members and current members. I will still need all your info even if you are a current member just so they can match things up in your profile.
* Don't feel too bad if you paid more for your Life Membership than $300. I paid $500 for mine in a half-off special. Others have paid the full $1000. It's all going to a good cause.
* If you're on an Easy-Pay-Life plan, you still need to pay the full $300 if you want to take advantage of this offer.
* The NRA gave me a January 15, 2012 deadline. I'd like to get this out the first week of January if possible. The 20 spots DO fill up pretty fast.
* Once they receive it, they DO take their sweet time to process everything. It may take a month or so before your check is deposited and you get your Life Member packet.
* Life Member packet includes a nice certificate, welcome letter, probably window decals and stickers. NO other gimmicky prizes, jackets, or gifts in the $300 offer. That's cheap enough as it is.
* If you used to be an NRA members and let it expire, it helps if you provide your old NRA # anyway (if you can locate it) so they can match things up. Don't worry if you can't find it.
