A buddy of mine had a shell jam his marlin up and so i offered to fix it for him. I cannot really find what the casue was other then the fact that the rifle was filthy. Anyhow the trigger assy. was very very difficult to remove and now i cannot get it put in. It seems as though it could be bent but i am not certain. Also, there is a coil spring about an inch long and is cone shaped on each end. I dont remember it while disassembling and cant figure out where it goes:confused: Also, anybody got a schematic? Thanks fellas.

The spring you found is likely the hammer spring, install it after the trigger group and hammer is already put back together. Also don't put the bolt and hammer in until the trigger group is already installed. Look out for the ejector and spring, they pretty much just lay in the left side and usually falls out when dissambeling the gun and can either get lost or fall down in the workings. If the hole between the peep sight keeper screws is empty the ejector is missing.
