Not a worry to me. A curiousity. So many we don't need to worry about it.
A study on say .357 Mag brass with full pressure loads would take a great deal less time.

So after thirty weeks nearly all of the 200 cases have shortened measurably and I’ll have to drop my arbitrary length limit.
I’m a sci-fi fan, so I couldn’t “like” your answer, but I do agree it wasn’t Oscar worthy. I’d put the Blair Witch Project ahead of it though…The worst movie in the history of mankind
You got be beat there, but I have some new unopened pistol ball from 'nam era headstamp WCC 67, brown cardboard box.I still have GI WWII 45 acp cases that I fired when I was 16 years old and have reloaded them many times since. I am now 72.
evenutally the brass fails. are you finding as you get more and more firings into that brass, that you do more or better checks on the brass? do you have a plan? like if you find a failed case or two, are you scrapping the batch assuming the failure timeline is similar for all the cases? I've never done that many reloads, but eventually I'll get there. Need to figure out how to keep trck of it still. I'll probably just put hashmarks on the box with a sharpy, but that seems very unsophisticated.Nope, not disposable to me. And as for the headspacing thing, we’ll see if that actually happens and, if so, when. But I’m not scrapping anything.
My plan at this point is bout as sophisticated as this whole endeavor—not much of one.evenutally the brass fails. are you finding as you get more and more firings into that brass, that you do more or better checks on the brass? do you have a plan? like if you find a failed case or two, are you scrapping the batch assuming the failure timeline is similar for all the cases? too much analysis kills many a project, been there. hindsight being 22 is a real thing. My plan at this point is bout as sophisticated as this whole endeavor—not much of one.
For example, I do not plan to discard the batch because a case fails from time to time. BUT can imagine changing that approach should the failures be catastrophic kabooms.
I do and always have put a lot of hands on each and every case throughout the process—all SS & dipper loading, priming, & some hand polishing. Don’t forsee adding to it. BUT again as cases begin to fail (if they do) I may change something.
Looking back, I wish I had done several things differently or at least see flaws in my approach. BUT, knowing me as I do, if I had been more structured, I wouldn’t have sustained it even this long.
If Bill Gates stopped on the sidewalk to pick up a $100 bill, how much would he lose in opportunity costs? So many we don't need to worry about it.

Well there it is. The reason for my lack of success—I pick up pennies. If Bill Gates stopped on the sidewalk to pick up a $100 bill, how much would he lose in opportunity costs?
That was an exam question from one of my stats classes back in the late 80’s.
It just goes to show how relevant seemingly irrelevant stuff can be.
It’s a more interesting thread than the arguments over .001gr variations between electronic scales throwing 45gr+ loads. Talk about meaningless drivel….
As luck would have it Guardians was on TV yesterday evening. A bunch of animals on the deck of the ship is what I saw and all I saw before I turned to the Mecom auction. (Which was a bunch of animals spending too much on cars of their youth.)I’m telling ya, around the Ides of March, the cases are going to give up the ghost, the ultimate answer says so! 30+12=42. QED.

Hence the old saying "Never judge a book by its Hollywood adaptation."The worst movie in the history of mankind
Only saw water world because kostner—bad trickA few stupid movies people have said were the bomb.
Space Balls
Super Trooper
Freddie Got Fingered
Open Water
Water World
And a few others.
Guardians of Galaxy among so many "hero" movies ultimately represent/reflect our own internal struggle/conflict as we confront and resolve issues from our childhood indoctrination/programming by society to eventually overcome them to triumphantly "live" our destined lives after realizing/actualizing we are "gods" of our destiny and move forward to write/author our own/self determined life paths colored by lessons/takeaways from our past life experiences ... hence my motto "Live Life" - https://www.gotquestions.org/red-pilled.htmlGuardians was on TV yesterday evening. A bunch of animals on the deck of the ship is what I saw and all I saw
Much of what we do in shooting/reloading is similar as we contemplate what we were told (Indoctrinated/programmed) by others when we first started shooting/reloading to eventually pursue our own shooting/reloading journey (Become "god" of our shooting/reloading destiny) based on our own personal experience that will lead to personal myth busting/confirmation as we journey through various stages of shooting/reloading - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-and-discussions.778197/page-11#post-12029687Looking back, I wish I had done several things differently or at least see flaws in my approach. Me too. Very interesting movie of survival/right to exist as a "minority" whose rights were constantly being imposed/pursued by the "majority".Well, I like Water World.
Watership Down. I like rabbits.Dang fellas. Sometimes it’s best to not look for a deeper meaning. You’re turning plain old movies into “films”
I dare not reveal my favorite movie now lest you ruin it for me.
I know and don’t disagree. Evervwatch Mystery Science Theater? Three aliens nor something yammering throughout a movie? I love that typeWatership Down. I like rabbits.
Tell me about the rabbits, George.
Personally, I see any exploration of coincidence vs. prediction as a worthwhile pursuit. I try not to fool myself into thinking my observations are either insightful or inspiring; I do these things for me, not Humanity.
But it is interesting. At least more interesting than the bubblegum Hollywood churns out.
NO! NO!The worst movie in the history of mankind

The Conqueror
The movie that stars John Wayne as Genghis Khan is The Conqueror, a 1956 historical drama film directed by Dick Powell and written by Oscar Millard. The film also features Susan Hayward, Agnes Moorehead and Pedro Armendáriz as other Mongolian characters. The movie is widely considered as one of the worst movies ever made, due to its poor casting, dialogue and acting
OPPS....sorry I am derailing the OP's thread.
