Won this in a auction and looks even better in person grips, barrel and cylinder all number. Grips look as new only little problem someone took a grinder to the cylinder release latch. I think I got a fair deal on it at $435.00 plus shipping saved the transfer fee as it was a 1955 model and she came to my front door on my C&R license. She will be shot on Saturday.

Very nice...it has been a long time since I've seen one with that hammer style.

I had that same bevel on my old M-14...it is a clearance cut for use with speedloaders

Good for you. This is her older sister, 1951 timeframe. Yes the grips are new and more comfortable, and the red dot was the cheapest one I could find, but Ms. Clementine here will make ragged little holes at 21 yards all day.
It makes me feel good when I can breathe new life into an old shooter like this.

Great old revolver.
I have my fathers 4 screw Combat Masterpiece that's a bit worn, but has one of the best double action triggers I've shot, and is a tackdriver.
Well done.

Great gun at a decent price. Haven't seen one like that in a very long time.

You idd not get a good deal at $435.00

You practically stole it!

There is a good argument that the Combat Masterpiece is the finest .38 Special revolver ever made.

Here are my two Combat Masterpieces,,,
Stella is a Model 15 (.38) and Didi is a Model 18 (.22 LR)

Come the revolution these are the two they will have to pry from my cold dead fingers. ;)
