One of my Son's bought me a new bow for spring turkey this year! It's a Darton, one of their top shelf too. I'm going to sight it in tomorrow, but after installing the sight box, peep, and arrow rest, I shot a few through it just to see how it shoots. After I got it on paper/target at 20 yds, I shot 4 or 5 groups just to see how it groups, amazing! The arrows were touching in every groups, I even stripped a couple fletchings off, due almost Robin hooding them.

After I finish sighting it in tomorrow, I'm going to shoot it over my chrony to see just how fast it is at 60 lbs.. It's supposed to out shoot all the PSE's I have, and those bows are exceedingly fast, 275 fps at 62 lbs.. And it's so quiet compared to any of my PSE's, or my Bow Tech, and they have everything on them made to dampen recoil and that cracking sound, stabilizer, string stops, string silencers, limb savers, you name it.

I think it's going to be the perfect turkey hunt. We have a professional camera man, good friend of the family, and he has extensive experience filming all types of hunts, but this will be his first ever turkey. My Son and I will be guiding the others, but we are doing our hunt a couple days prior to the others arriving at the cabin. We'll have the archery video hunt finished before the others arrive at the cabin, and then we'll share it with them, just to give them an idea of what to expect, and to raise the anticipation level a little bit.
