While going through my Beretta in a detailed strip cleaning I found something interesting.
One of my 15 round magazines, my RAMLINE, actually holds 18 rounds.
This is only 2 rounds shy of my 93R magazine that holds 20. That mag is a good 3/5ths of an inch longer and sticks out the bottom of the grip, while this "Cheap Ramline" (which works flawlessly, and is easy to load and unload) sits nice and flush and looks perfectly normal.

That explains it.

It works very well. And to think, I used to scoff at RAM LINE when I was younger... thought they made cheap garbage.
I was wrong. The make inexpensive good stuff.

Should have stocked up way back then... had I known.

had too many BAD experiences with "JamLine"

i think you just got extra lucky that it even feeds

I have only one Ram-Line mag. It's a hi-cap for a Ruger .22. I thought it was the cheapest looking piece of crap I'd ever seen when it was sent to me. But it's never failed me once. And I love it's easy constant force spring.

I have one for my Taurus 92 that holds and feeds 18 just great. Used it in IPSC for years before buying a SVI 40. The last time I used it I used 4 more from a friend in our club for the state match in 1997. Five 18 round mags I was ready to go. Its getting pretty worn and can't replace it.

I bought 2 of the Ram-Line 18 rounders for my Taurus PT-99AF way back when and I have never had a problem with them. I use 1 for daily carry. I wish I had bought more. What other hi caps are available for this model or the Beretta?

I have two reliable "unknow manufaturer" mags that I got off a NJ fella. Both of them hold more than 15rds and both are reliable.

It may be the Beretta 92FS pistol, but the Ramline 18 rounder feeds fine in my pistol. My local police department uses the ramline magazines in their pistols (or at least they used to). That's been about five years ago.

George,

Does your ramline mag use the curious roll-up spring, rather than the standard wire coil.

I believe the unusual spring design is why they can hold more rounds-more space efficient.

I have 3 SS 10 round Ramline mags for my Beretta 92 and they are not only reliable but also seem to be made well. I will keep my eyes peeled for a Ramline 15 round mag.

The Ramline 10/22 mag I had was CRAP!
