Ok, some of you may remember me saying I got two young female shooters out the range Sunday this week. One of them is thinking handgunning might just be the hobby for her.

Well, the same night that I had dinner at my place another buddy said he'd like to try shooting sometime. So, I took him and another guy out today that's shot before but won't be buying any guns anytime soon. Legal issues and what not.

Well, on the way there he mentions to me that a friend of his has a revolver that she has no interest in keeping. I'm not sure how she got it (inherited maybe?) but wants to get rid of it and doesn't really care about getting the best deal. Seeing as how I don't own a wheel gun I'm intrigued and would like to check it out.

Well, we get to the range and setup shop. I pulled out all the stops on this one. We had the AR-15, the AK-47, my spiffy new Walther P22, CZ-75B, Glock 21 and Glock 23C. A wide array. The "new guy" had previously fired a few hunting rifles and shotguns in his life, but nothing like this stuff.

We rattled some rounds down range in the above order. About halfway through the trip the new guy says, "You know, you're right. This is surprisingly very very relaxing".

On the way home he's no longer thinking -I- should buy the revolver in question -- he's wondering if he should buy it. :D

<singing>And another one down, another one down, another one bites the dust!</singing>

Boy... have I got some cleaning to do tonight and tomorrow though! It's worth it though.
