Another PTR-91 Question

There are at least two types of G3 bayonets.
One type attaches at the muzzle and locks into a catch on the end cap of the operating rod tube.
This end cap with attaching point is not installed on the PTR-91, a plain, flat face cap is installed on the PTR-91.
Another type of bayonet locks onto the flash hider itself, I am not sure how this works because I have never handled this type of bayonet.
In both cases, a G3 type flash suppresser of the correct dimension needs to be installed at the muzzle. HTH
