Anybody who thinks I'm dumb for carrying at home, here's another case for ya. The robbery takes place in south San Jose. I don't know of any bad neighborhoods in that area. A shotgun hidden in the next room probably wouldn't have helped you out here...

Police found four children and four adults tied with duct tape up in their South San Jose home, victims of a home invasion robbery earlier this morning, officer Jermaine Thomas said.
One man was beaten during the robbery, but no one was seriously injured in the attack, he said.
Thomas said officers believe that five men entered the home at around 2:20 a.m., tied up the family and stole some of their belongs. The house is on the 400 block of Ariel Drive, near Snell Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard.
The robbers barged into the home with their faces covered, shot into the ceiling of a hallway, restrained the family with duct tape and dragged them into a bedroom.
The investigation is ongoing and it is unclear what the men took from the home and how police were alerted to the robbery.
No suspects are in custody at this point.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call San Jose Police Department's robbery unit at (408) 277-4166.
