Any chance of a full-size, single stack, polymer handgun?

Good point. IMO, if you would see it in a uniformed officer's holster, its not a compact.

I saw a Deputy wearing a Glock 26/27/33 as his duty gun once, what does that make it? ;)

That would strike me as odd... The smallest pistol I've seen a patrolman carry was a T9. Most are G23-sized pistols or larger.

I have seen plainclothes officers carry smaller pistols, and one uniformed officer at the courthouse that carries a Kimber Compact with CT grips, in a cheap nylon holster comparable to the ones I've paid $15 for at gun shows years ago...

The P90 has a 4.5" barrel, and I don't think Ruger ever called it a compact. The P97 has a shorter barrel and may have been called a compact.

Well I'll be dipped...:banghead:

I've had the darn thing since Nov 2008 (;)) & woulda bet a whole lot of $$$ it was 4.2" for the Canadian market.

When I bought it I was also looking the KP345 & a couple others. Maybe I got my specs mixed up. I R old. :(

I don't know why people refer to it as ugly. I prefer "businesslike!":D
