AR15 Surefire Weapon Light

I am looking for a Surefire AR15 vertical grip/light setup. I want one of the one-piece deals, like the M900 series. Are there older models of this light that can be had for around $400. I know that most places sell the M900 for $625. Thanks.

Rico makes a few clones. I have never handled them, and can't speak to the quality.

The new crimson trace ones can be had for around $400 and have a light that's as bright as the surefire, along with a laser.

The Rico clones are a good buy for the money. I would buy one before shelling out the dough for a Surefire. The M900 is a nice light but isn't very versatile IMO since you can only mount it below the barrel and doesn't give you the options of mounting the light right or left and using a pressure switch to still activate it from the VFG.

hhmmm I bought a surefire off the equipment exchange on ar15.com a few yrs back. check used gear, mine was "used"... as in new in box but only $300, not $500 some

I have a surefire flashlight mounted to my AR, I think it set me back 40 bucks.

Hm. And all this time my G2L and a simple ring mount have worked fine. lol
