What are some of the pistols known to have a good DA trigger pull? Specifically looking at sub-compact 9mm's such as the Glock 26.....
that's a joke right? the 3rd Gen S&Ws have an awesome reset, but i find their DA trigger strokes mushyS&W is the smoothest.
the last one i had a chance to shoot extensively was a TSW model. and while it was better than a 669 or 4006 i tried a while back, i didn't think it compared well with a regular Sig 226ST much less a DAK model. They are not mushy at all, unless you like bottom end models.
Cz Vz. 82.
The military surplus version of the Cz 83. Every example I have had the pleasure of examining (including my own) has had an extremely smooth DA trigger pull.
No. I has several ST's as well as the older W. German 226 flavors. The newer guns have smoother triggers, but not as good as S&W whose design is simply better. The double-sided trigger bar does not flex, and the pull feels more positive. If you take a S&W apart, you'll find it pretty complicated. If one of these parts isn't fitted correctly, it will impart drag and binding and will spoil the pull. The S&W's I had all had smooth pulls, especially the older guns with the chrome plated components.the last one i had a chance to shoot extensively was a TSW model. and while it was better than a 669 or 4006 i tried a while back, i didn't think it compared well with a regular Sig 226ST much less a DAK model.
have you tried a Sig DAK?
might i suggest you try a Sig DAK trigger as a point of comparison.No. I has several ST's as well as the older W. German 226 flavors. The newer guns have smoother triggers, but not as good as S&W whose design is simply better.
