Best optic for sig 716 patrol?

What is the best optic for a sig 716 patrol 308.I want to be able to hit at 600yards with no problem yet still be able to engage a cqb distances I really like night force optics but I'm new to shooting at anything further than 300 yards.

Perhaps something like the schmidt bender 1 8x24 pm short dot. It is not cheap but it is usable from CQB out past 600 yards, probably out to 800 or so.

The S&B 1-8x24 short dot would likely be the best, or possibly a March tactical 1-10x24 w/ MTR-2 reticule, but I don't know all that much about March scopes, other than they're in the same price range as Schmidt & Bender and have a good reputation from what I've heard.

With 1-4x optics, I've shot out to 550 yards with great success, regularly making contact with a 13" gong. I was using a Swiss Arms PE90.

I'd say a Bushnell 3-12x44 with the H2DMR reticle or something along those lines, and an offset red dot like an Aimpoint micro for close quarters.
